Also, Nendoroid Ayasaki Hermione (Hayate) is going to be released on 10.02.2011
After looking at this pic with Azunyan I kinda want to buy this nendo now...
Mickey only having one face makes sense when you consider how finicky Disney is as to which sculpts get approved. They have very high standards as to the accuracy of the facesculpts of their characters, so it's hard enough to get one sculpt approved, let alone multiples. At least they included swappable eyes.
And that HMO Miku is leaving me in quite the dilemma. I can't decide between HMO Miku or Figma Metis! On one hand, Miku is friggin' adorable, and has a ton of accessories. But on the other hand, Metis is cheaper (both in cost and shipping), and I really love her gothic-lolita-BJD design (even if The Answer was one of the least enjoyable parts of P3FES). Decisions, decisions...
I didn't know that Disney went to such lengths to look like the show. I guess i see your point though about how it makes sense that they would only supply one face. However, Disney would hull in more cash if Mickey had more faces. Then again, they could be saving up for some anniversary, as the figures would go for more if they were strictly limited for an event. The whole swappable eyes thing though, is a strange concept. They don't even look very different. However, that would again go back to the whole accuracy complex Disney has. Well, maybe complex is too strong a word.
