Summary:
Whenever the Sun enters a new solar cycle, a legendary Pokémon of aurora, Suikun, may reveal itself! Satoshi and Gou, who work as research fellows at the Sakuragi Institute, head to Aurora Village to investigate the relation between Suikun and the aurora. There they meet a girl named Ema, whose father is an aurora researcher, and the plethora of Pokémon living in the snowy fields. The Rocket Gang also show up and try to snatch Pikachu for themselves. Will they arrive safely to see the aurora and possibly even meet with Suikun?
