Figure list. Release.

Figure list open beta is over. It did reveal quite a number of issues. Thanks to all the users who took their time to test everything :)

I tried to post this several times thinking “that’s it, I’ve fixed the last bug” but new ones appeared again and again. It seems everything has been fixed for now, haha :P

Not much has changed since the beta start but here’s a complete list of figure list changes:

• Combined page navigation. Go with usual pages or activate the “endless scroll” if you’d like. Your latest choice is saved in cookies. Change your mind anytime!

• Filtering and sorting are now working via AJAX queries and JSON API which allows for refreshing the data only instead of reloading the page completely.

• Switching between view options (big pictures, avatars, lines) now happens without querying the server at all.

• Filter data now goes straight to the URL! This is much more effective than using # since the filter is not reset after refreshing the page.

• Page layout has been altered slightly.

• Filter form is revealed if at least one filter field is filled.

• ID filter added. For example this is a link to figures of an anime title: http://myanimeshelf.com/figures/?filter[anime]=706207

I hope the thorough testing has not left any critical bugs and I can start on a mountain of small issues that piled up in the meantime :)
