Bandai Spirits announces the release of a Real Grade model of the RG 1/144 Freedom Gundam, based on the life-sized Freedom Gundam that is currently erected at the Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Shanghai Jinqiao, Shanghai, China.
Premium Bandai Japan opens a lottery sale for the kit on August 2, which will end on August 18, 2022. Participants will know if they are able to purchase the product on August 25th.
The kit will be sold for 3,850 Yen and will be shipped in October 2022.
The kit features newly molded and improved parts of the original RG Freedom Gundam to match the actual looks of the life-sized statue in China. This include the head mold, arms, hand manipulators, leg molds, amd more! It also include a pair of support rods for its wing binders to support its weight when in static position.
The kit will be exclusively sold in The Gundam Base Shanghai starting July 2nd, 2022 for 299 Yuan or about $44 USD. This release also celebrates the Gundam NEXT Project Link the Universe event that will start on July 14th.
