With the closure of B-Club Garage Kits Summer Campaign, 50 modellers were rewarded with as many representatives of the Master Grade GP01 in metallic version. To enter the contest needing to purchase any kits garage of B-Club (as long as it cost at least ¥ 10,000) during the period between July 1 and September 30, then send its data, a code found on the model itself and wait the extraction. 50 other modelers have received HG 1/144 MS-06JC Zaku II in camouflage coloring.
The surface treatment of plastic looks identical to the various "coating" issued from 1998. Probably because this version is out of line with the others, as premium, preferred to define the term "full color plated".
The reduced number of units produced and the technology used to make this piece a rarity for collectors.
