Mirei is a new first-year at Kitauji High School. She joins the band as a tuba player in Kumiko's second year.

She has impressive performance talent. With her cool expression and thorny phrases, it feels like she keeps distant from others.

When she was friends with her fellow tuba player Satsuki Suzuki in elementary school, they were called the “Double Suzukis”, although she dislikes that nickname.
