The late creator of the online video called
Altair: World Étude, from which Altair originated. She and Sōta were friends until they drifted apart once she became a popular drawer. However, her popularity caused those jealous of her success to accuse her of plagiarism, causing her to commit suicide prior to the start of the series. Her death set the events of the series into motion, causing Altair's hatred towards humanity and leaving Sōta with extreme self-loathing.
