Tadano Itsuki is a student of Inashiro Industrial and the baseball team's primary catcher after Harada Masatoshi retired.
Tadano is polite to people around him even to Narumiya Mei, despite having squabbles with him at times.
As a catcher, he is aware of what he lacks, but tries his best to make use of Narumiya's full potential. He later watches Seido High and Ugumori High's match-up with Fukui and carefully observes Miyuki Kazuya's flair as catcher.
