The second vice-president of the student council, she competes with Toranosuke Miyamura as a candidate to be the next student council president. The club discovers that she is a witch with the ability to capture the hearts of people she has kissed, including Yamada's friend Ushio, who continues to pursue her regardless of whether or not he is charmed. She is the first student to regain her memories after Yamada meets the seventh witch,[ch. 73,74] but in her interactions with helping Yamada, it becomes apparent to Tamaki and Haruma that she is putting aside her own feelings of love for Yamada.[ch. 73-77] Nene is portrayed by Ito Ono (Haruna in High School Debut) in the drama series.
