Miwa Shirow illustrations
13 Jul 2010 19:52:25

I stumbled upon Miwa Shorow's art today on Sankaku. I usually don't save arts I find on the internet, but he is quite irresistible!

He is a mangaka actually, author of Dogs manga (the one I just MUST check now I've seen his works), and illustrator of a series of hit Miku MADs and albums (don't know what is it, I'm not really into Vocaloids).

Anyway, his Miku I love best among all I've seen (even when you're not into Vocs, you can't avoid seeing them everywhere on the net^_^). It's from "Love is war", I guess.

I totally love this aggressive style!
And his Saber Zero... My god, BEST!

I don't have any idea where this art is from, but the big guy looks like a jester - I loved jesters since I was a kid^_^

Gunslinger girl. Don't like the series, but looove this art!

Playful and quite sexy, thought not explicit Lagann art. Great!

And Yoko too^^

His style is just like I always dreamed to draw^__^ You can see more from him on his site or in his pixiv

Miwa Shirow made my day!^__^

Nice artwork, Thanks for sharing!

By the way the picture you say looks like a jester is Necro from street fighter with his girlfriend Effie. (I absolutely love her design, I've got the only figure that they probably will ever make of her.)

I love it so much when his work gets attention. His style has to be one of my all time favorites. Like you said, it's very aggressive, but still remains 'pretty'. I don't really know how to say it. ^^;

now it's one of my favorites too^__^ He is really stylish and not too sweet, which I don't appreciate in Japanese modern art.
