My Neighboring Figure, Totori

My Neighboring Figure, Totori
22 Jun 2011 03:27:09

Two weeks ago, Impending_Sky posted a Nendo-corner piece on Totori, a character from one of the more recent Atelier games to come out in Japan (with it coming to America later this year). Seeing the images of Totori in action, I decided that I might as well try to order her once the figure comes in, as it definitely felt as if she was going to sell out rather fast.

With the figure pretty much selling out at Hobby Search, and with me assuming that Amiami was sold out of the figures as well, the only other option was to wait and see if Hobby Link Japan got any Totori figures left once they received their shipment and sent their pre-orders out. Sure enough, HLJ still had a few left. So, knowing that they'd sell out rather quickly, I ordered Totori last week. On Monday, after sitting at a FedEx center over the weekend (hey, I didn't know they'd try to deliver it on Friday while I was out seeing Super 8), I received the figure.

Just a note before I get to the pictures: yes, I've become aware of the dust, with me doing some dusting after reading the Russian comments mentioning the problem (I really need to get some more air dusters soon.)

Totori and Chim, a homunculus partner of Toroti, in a regular pose.

Make one more complaint about the dust on my bookshelves, and Totori is going to blow herself up. Please think about the poor alchemist.

Totori and Chim, along with Annie and Pepe from the Nintendo DS Atelier game Atelier Annie (I received the figures as part of NIS America's limed edition version of the game).

My main pose for Tototi, although she is holding her staff with her right hand (whereas the main pose has her holding if with her left hand).

Rounding out this post, here's a picture of all the Nendoroids that I have so far (as well as a figure that I've had since 2002).

Why am I posting a picture of this, well let's just say that I'm taking my figurine photos to the next dimension (requires a 3DS system to get the full effect).

That's right, I've finally found a site to upload my 3D pics. You can see more of my pics here (again, the 3DS will be needed to get the full effect), with me planning to post more 3D in the future (be it figures or con pics).
