Our house is finished! We are complete dorks, so we set aside the extra bedroom just to display our anime and figures and video games. So, without further delay, here are the pictures of our Geek room.
Above the entry we have two old plexiglass signs. The Nintendo one is over the bathroom which will eventually be decorated like a Mario underwater level.
From the doorway, this is what you see. The shelf in the center we bought from a bookstore that was closing down because it was perfect for the smaller figures. The main two shelves you can see in the back on this one are the DVD shelf (with old school toys hanging on the wall above it) and the videogame shelves on the right, with video game toys hanging on the wall above that. My partner works at Gamestop, so most of the games are hers.
Next, is the mural we painted on the wall by hand. A portal complete with a Katamari ball, Wheatley and Starfox. You can even see Jack Frost from the Shin Megami games. The Ninja Turtles painting above it is a piece she made ^_^
The closet has various cardboard cutouts along with a Sonic level at the top and Sonic figurines hanging from that. Obviously it will not be used for clothes or the like.
Final picture... oops it's side ways. But these are the anime shelves with Gundam figures above them.
Most of our figures are in a large hutch in the living room. Maybe I'll take pictures and load those next!
