Taiga Holding: d20 (2 of 2)

Here's the second d20 Taiga picture. My D&D character who was inspired by her was played in a world that was inspired by a lot of different elements. The base for the world was Final Fantasy Tactics, but there were elements for other Final Fantasy games, basic D&D, other RPG and miniatures games, and a few anime (elements from Fullmetal Alchemist played a big part in the story). On my computer screen you can see the first part of the character sheet for Anna (Xenos) Marcel as well as two edited fanart pictures (one of Saber and the other of Taiga) which I edited to look like Anna. The Character sheet is of her Epic 27 level, 32 year old self. Originally she started out the game as a 17 year old, but we had a 14 year time skip after level 19 so we could play as super awesome badasses. Anna is my favorite character I've played so far. She was the first female character I ever played. The game was a lot of fun. ^_^

And who invited the setting and all the stuff? As far as I'm concerned it takes quite a long period of time if you don't have any pre-sets like, you know, thin D&D books with description of a particular world. And you led your character up to lvl 27... Wow! oO

Haha, well the world was kind of made already. My friend Dan and his old D&D group used the world before we started playing in it. He ran the game for me and my old roommates. His old group played in the world a lot before we started our game so it had a lot of history. And since it borrowed a lot of things from other established stories, it wasn't too hard to develop.

As far as our game goes, the world we were playing in was really dangerous, so we started with our characters at level 10. During our sessions we got to level 19. Then with the time skip we jumped to level 27 for some bonus awesome action. So in reality, we only had 10 earned level increases (we definitely earned our way to level 20, but we just skipped up to 27) during the time we played.

Ahhh, I want to play table top RPG's so much right now, but I don't have any friends around me anymore who play. Dan told me that the old group is now playing a game based in the Index/Railgun world using the Mutants and Masterminds system. I'm so sad that I'm not there to play with them. :(

That's true! A good table top RPG in good company is one of the most absorbing things. It's also amusing that you can get such amazing experience without computer (console or whatever). Just table, books, dice and paper. Ah no... and people :)
