Satsuki is Shiki's classmate and friend, who likes him very much. She is portrayed as somewhat more outgoing and a mutual friend of both Shiki and Inui, spoiler!and confesses to Shiki near the end of the series. It is news of Yumizuka's supposed death during Nero Chaos's raid on the hotel that finally prompts Shiki to action against the vampire.
