Hinoe

Japanese name:

ヘイ ひのえ

Hinoe means third in rank, third sign of the Chinese calendar. She is a youkai (spirit) that was charmed by Natsume Reiko, and let Reiko put her name in the book of friends. She mistakes Takashi Natsume with his grandmother, Reiko. Hinoe also helps Natsume when he's in trouble.
