Neko is Shiro's pet cat and a Strain. She has the ability to transform into human form, naked, and performs illusions to protect Shiro. She is deeply attatched to Shiro and will go to great lengths in order to keep him safe. She refers to him as "Neko's Shiro." It is later revealed that she also has the ability to manipulate people's memories. She is quite playful and mischievous giving her pursuers hard time chasing them especially when she's in her human form. She is also a lover of rice crackers and would do almost anything to have some. She is a supposed transfer student after she turned up in Shiro's class all of sudden. Neko is responsible for erasing Shiro's memories.
