Soun Hojo after traveling to the modern world and realizing that it is all but impossible for one person to rule the entire world becomes depressed until the mother of her friend, Jun Takahashi, suggests that Soun attend high school. While there, Soun settles on taking over the school by battling bullies which she refers to as the Shadow Ruffian Alliance. Eventually, Soun is confronted by SRA member Kotaro Fuuma, who tells her to head to the school gym for more information about the SRA. When she arrives, Soun is confronted and attacked by a masked figure who is later revealed to be Yoshimoto Imagawa, Soun's former retainer. After discovering this, Soun pledges her loyalty to Yoshimoto, who has requested her help in defeating Nobunaga Oda.
