Motoharu Shibasaki is Souseiseki's medium in the anime. He is an elderly watchmaker who became delusional after his young son died in an accident. Motoharu's wife, Matsu, fell into a deep coma from the shock not long after, causing him to eventually become lonely and believe that Souseiseki was his son reborn.
