Layla Malkal has very long, blond hair and light purple eyes. She is another member of the European Union and she is Akito's superior. She also wears a peculiar costume. Reila Malkal, a former Britannian Aristocrat, is an adjutant of the EU Forces and Commander of the “Wyvern” Knightmare Corps comprised of Japanese teenagers. They recklessly plunge into a battlefield, where the survival rate is extremely low. They fight for their freedom, so that they can have a country that they can return to that feels like “home”. Thus begins their fight against the adult world.
