He is a son of a nobleman from the Kingdom of Qi and a student at Cadoques High-school. He is very arrogant, self-centered, and has a very distasteful attitude toward commoners.

He happens to also be the class president of Class 1, which is composed of members of the nobility.

SpoilerIt was later reveled that he is the son of the disgraced Marshal Leopold Melze who is a member of the Aerial Knights where he and his family were exiled to Isla.
