My own outcome of Wonder Festival 2010

My own outcome of Wonder Festival 2010
12 Feb 2010 20:25:57

I'm really glad that things like WonFest exist. When I started my figure-collecting some 5 years ago I didn't know anything about the industry. I had to buy things on the whim and, of course, I missed many must-haves that time.

Now I can plan my wallet's damage^_^ Here is what I plan in follow up of WonFest 2010.
Well, I'll stay true to myself and make an emphasis on actions again.
Commenting mu597 here, I said that Evangelion figmas are must-buy for me:

But seeing new Fraulein Revoltech Eva girls I changed my mind - I'll buy them rather then figmas!

Fraulein bodies IMO are better depicting Eva chars, their plastic is better (not so glossy) and i like their paintjob.

And I see an important improvement in sculpting of new experimental plugsuit Asuka's hair - ball-joints!

First one didn't have them, so her head movement was really limited. I'm glad they fixed this.

But all that's not to say I'm giving up figmas! No! I'll keep pursuing 3 lines I chose. And they are expanding!

1 line - Haruhi. Goes without saying. I already have 18 of them, I can't stop here. I'll have Little Haruhi

Long-haired movie ver. Haruhi

And Mikuru Adult ver. (I'm glad I passed on her 1/8 PVC)

2 line - Fate/Stay Night. There will be my beloved Rider (wonder if her hair is ball-joined somewhere?)

Red Saber from the PS3 game... Don't know yet how much I'll pay for her, but I'll get her anyway

Saber-alter (then I'll finally sell my revoltech 2G ver)

And... ARCHER!!! WOW!

3 line - K-On. Also, I went through so much hardship to get Yui, Mio and Mugi, that I can't just stop buying them.

Btw, today my proxy mailed me informing that my Ui figma is preordered from GSC online shop. Resale in June.

And more - ex:ride line, various wheels for figmas. I collect them. Preorder all and everything. And there is much for me to expect!

All this is really enough for me. So no Eva, nor BRS or any other figma stuff^__^

But there is something more from the Revoltech line I want to show you. I was really astonished that they decided to release those. And it is a complete MUST for me.
So - come one, come all, you old-school anime lovers - TRIGUN REVOLTECH!!!

Main hero Vash the Stampede

And my beloved Nicholas D. Wolfwood with his giant cross-gun!! Wow^___^! Dreams come true!

Then, to nendos. I think I'll pass on all petite lines - they would just crowd my shelfs. But what I'll definitely buy - is this super-mega-cute movie ver. Yuki.

I'm not so sure about Haruhi, I'll have her in a figma form anyway.

But Yuki with her scarf, coat and glasses - just completely won my heart.

I'll say it one more time: I like to play with figures. So anything playable, like this nendoroid music room, would most likely become a must for me.

Let's move on to scaled figures. First and must - 1/6 Max Factory Mari! Wow, that's my type of figure! Simple pose, great painjob and she will look good next to my 1/6 Vacantion ver. Saber.

And this cool 1/8 yukata Rei from Kotobukiya. I want to see her painted! It is strange, but I don't have any scaled figures of Rei yet. This one, I hope, will fill the gap^^

Then... well, I'm not really sure I'll get her, but she is great. Real look Saber Lily (From Gift, I guess). Hey, Glory, she will look cool alongside your normal Armour ver. Gift's Saber.

In the end I'll show you two figures from One Piece. Manufacturer is MegaHouse, of course. I will get this two most likely. That would be Sanji

And android Franky

Both of them are posing in their costumes from 10th One Piece movie "Strong World".

Phew... That's all, I think^^ It took a while to make this post.
