Now, when it comes to figures, January turns out a little boring. In fact, almost everything I had this month was this:

Customizable stage for figma and a clear case to make a di:stage clear box for display. Good news are that I finally came to something I've been planning since I've got the first di:stage some 6 month ago - to make an actual custom figma stand. Here:

Clear Case for Saber and Rin with sunset background. Sorry for the dust, it's inevitable U_U
View from above^^

Clear case is falling apart a little^^
So, in fact, the only actual figure I've got this month is Banpresto's Grand Line Men Red Haired Shanks from One Piece.

I think I should add him to the database, but, as usual for Banpresto's game prizes, there are no decent images... I guess I'll make them myself, when I have some free time.
That's all for January^^ Next month will be much better - at least, Movic Mio is on her way to me^^

How sturdy is the plastic case di:stage?

It is not really sturdy... rather flexible. Nice thing is that all case details come with a plastic coating to avoid scratching. Before displaying, of course, you need to remove it.
And they put an actual di:stage with all accessories in the Clear case box. So you can just take the case, not bothering with original di:stages.

One needs to be in right mood to be creative^^

Why is it unnatural? I don't get it.
It is all about the playing process. That is the fun of action figures - you can play and make it rather creatively.
I don't like statues as much as actions because of that - they are the details of your interior, not a TOY, how they mean to be.
That's why I don't buy many scaled figures - I treat them as any other interior decoration - that just MUST fit into the INTERIOR. Many beautiful figures just don't fit into my room - and I won't buy it.
I don't want my room to turn into an exhibition hall - it is hard for me to live on the exhibition.
But toys - they are toys, not statues. Thing to collect and PLAY with. I like to play. That's why I love them^__^

I'm like usagi_joou, I like playing with my toys, and as I love statues too, I like them for displaying since they are pretty, but I can't play with my statues (for fear of breaking them :P), but I can play with my figmas and SHFs and they are a lot of fun.
