Figure vacantion in Sharm el-Sheikh - Part 1 - First days with RAH Ginko

Figure vacantion in Sharm el-Sheikh - Part 1 - First days with RAH Ginko

As I already mentioned, Ginko turned out to be a very good model. He is easy to pose, and, because he is 1/6 scale (big enough), I found many good backgrounds for him.
We arrived late, barely made it for dinner (or supper, how we would call it in Russia).
We checked in our two-storey Duplex suite (boasting detected!) around 11 PM. That's our room number sign.

I was tired of all this avia-madness: I didn't travel internationally by air for several years, and charter flights ABSOLUTELY must die.
But anyway, I couldn't resist making a couple of photos of Ginko. Besides, poor lad just had to get some tea and mikans (tangerines) before bedtime.

This all was provided by Re:ment company, which I love for its highly realistic 1/6 replicas of various food and drinks.

The traditional Japanese table I bought for Ginko on eBay is made of real wood.

Next day we've been sleeping and wandering around. We barely managed to get to the beach at sunset. It was beautiful!

I made a bunch of pastel photos of Ginko. I think this time of the day suits him perfectly.

To my great embarrassment, me and my BF were smoking frantically >_<. But as Ginko is a heavy smoker too, he didn't mind. Here he passes me my cigarette.

And that's all for the first part!^^

Yeah, flights can be pretty stressful. But I guess the rest of your holidays wasn't that stressful :D
Everything is just lovely. I especially like the photos with mikans and with a cigarette! ~^_^~

Very nice. I especially like the ones with the water in the background. And those miniature accessories are very cute.
You're starting to make me jealous of your Ginko. But it'd probably be really hard to find at this point and either way he's a little too expensive for my tastes. It's a shame that I haven't seen any other figures of him.

Thanks!
There is (as far as I know) only one more figure of him, more a miniature then a figure - he is sitting with semi-transparent plastic mushi around him

I think now it is even more rare then RAH^^ It came with a DVD set.

But if you are jealous of his "posability" and stuff, I think any RAH will do. Their bodies are standard, only heads and hands vary^^

No, I'm mainly just jealous of the fact that it's a Ginko figure. I really love his character. I'd probably be even happier if I could have a 1/8 completed figure of him. Though with the manga and anime finished in Japan it's pretty unlikely. :(
