As some of you may remember, I won a couple of prizes in MyAnimeShelf’s summer lottery. Thing is, I was the last one to actually get them, which is peculiar considering that I live nearer to Glory than all other lottery winners
.
I’ve got a chance to get my prizes on the Shelf’s Moscow meeting that took place a week ago in a Chinese restaurant in the center of Moscow. We gathered to celebrate Shelf’s first birthday. Some of those were present (including Glory) posted photo reviews, but they are all in a Russian segment of the Shelf. If you, by chance, would like to see the whole photo set of our company – come here and here.
We had a lot of fun. The only thing left to be desired was to have our members from abroad and other cities of Russia there
In fact, this is a big dream of mine: to have a real gathering with our fellow foreign and all-over-Russia Shelf-users. I hope someday it will come true
Now, to the prizes
At first, I had a blind box of Fate/Stay Night Nendoroid Petite. I was really happy to find out that I had Saber, Excalibur ver. She is one of my favorites from the whole set. Now I have my own palm-top Saber:

She found her place on my desk atop of CD-clock and near the traditional Indian bronze statue my father brought me.

The next one was the special prize. My luck at the day of the lottery was enormous
I won 2 prizes in a row! The special one is MyAnimeShelf mousepad. I don’t actually need one with my optical mouse, but I’m using it anyway, because it’s really cool^^

But that is not all. Glory made some MAS-themed games for us, and I managed to win one of them. Participants were asked to draw some famous anime-character as fast as they can, until someone recognizes it. I made a record with 5 sec. drawing of Miku Hatsune ^____^

That’s how it looked like – I just drew her recognizable twin-tails and everyone knew it was she. MADSKILLZZZ
So, I won a prize: MyAnimeShelf mug! I guess, now I officially have all possible kinds of MAS merchandise

Mug is great, I especially like that it is blue (my fave color) inside. On pics you can see Russian-style black tea with sugar and lemon.

I’ve always been curious about why tea with sugar/lemon is called Russian tea. There are no home-grown lemons in Russia!

A worldwide shelf meeting would be nice. (But just the thought of such an event makes me super nervous)

I guess a glass of vine and our somehow broken English (particularly mine
You see, if you (for example) would come from overseas to meet me (for example) and my company, I would get SO exited, that I'll turn totally non-judgmental. Its not that I'm usually judgmental, but that would be just UBER-non-judgmental, and I'll be totally happy even if you're turn out to be Ctulhu
And I guess you're not Ctulhu, are you?

If I actually had the chance to meet up with you guys maybe my nervousness would go away (afterall you guys are already my friends) But I always get so nervous and uncomfortable around other people so who knows what would happen.

When I read your comment, I immediately thought of somewhat popular Soviet cartoon "Kitten named Whoof" (yes, he was named after the sound of barking!
Whoof was afraid of thunderstorms. Thunder peals and strikes of lightning made him shiver and cringe. But in a room, where he lived he almost couldn't hear the thunder. But at the dark attic of the building, he could hear and see it all.
Once a a great storm came and Whoof immediately climbed to the attic. He was sitting there and waiting for lightning strikes and thunder peals to shiver and cringe.
his friend, a puppy came to the dark attic and asked Whoof: "What are you doing here?"
"I'm fearing!"
"Wow, that's cool!" - said the puppy - "Let's fear together!"
And so they did, shivering and cringing.
So, mu-san, I tell you: "Let's fear together!"
(wow, I've got kinda speechful all of a sudden, sorry about that!
