ThreeA may pre-orders
23 May 2010 23:13:02

I think i'll start doing this every month now. I'll make a list of this month's ThreeA pre-orders with all known information.

The main figure this month is the Popbot himself!

Popbot is the main robot from the popbot series. Each popbot will include a randomly colored figure of kitty.

From the ThreeA FAQ

"Popbot - Used to be a roadie for Kitty’s band now he's more like a bodyguard. He is rumored to be a Alpha Tuefel.

Kitty aka Dothan – Singer for the punk Group 2215 Funlicker, The Fourth’s Vizier. Has fucked a lot of people owing a lot of money to them (Sherlock Holmes, The Blind Gunslinger, Badbot, Mo. Prostrate, Mr. Bridger & Sockpuppet Gangster). "

If that description confused you dont worry reading the comic doesn't help much.

Thanks! That was really interesting, thought I'll aim for girls' figures only.

Popbot stuff is different from anything I've ever seen in a figure world: it is 100% art, and very very exclusive.
I'm too old for this shit, ain't I?

there's one more girl who I haven't posted about yet Little Shadow hope you dont get too jealous of her. :P

Ashley Wood whose art the figures are based on considers the figures more of an extension of his art rather than just toys or merchandise.

Also i added a few more pictures in case your interested.

Thanks a lot!
Yea, "extension of his art" is the expression I've been searching for - right one to explain what it is all about^_^

And this girl is kinda L-inspired, don't you think?^^

Oh my God. Thanks for the wonderful preview - it was nice to have a look, but - well - they are too bloodthirsty for a person like me. Although I won't hide that "slaughterhouse" is very impressive and managed to draw my attention. Too bad they are quite expensive... but I guess the quality is best possible.

Slaughterhouse is definitely the stand out figure of the set (i have one on pre-order) also Threea's prices are fairly reasonable compared other 1/6 scale figures like Medicom's that usually cost twice as much.

Maybe they just look less complicated than Medicom's dolls on the first sight, because they don't have such detailed faces and eyes. Though in a moment you get it that the quality seems to be perfect. Is the height of slaughter-guy known?
