I started to receive the stuff from my October orders this week. October was a weird month as I had a ton of stuff pre-ordered but only ended up getting two or three of them.

The first item I get this week was a dakimakura! Now when I'm felling lonely I have something nice to cuddle with.

Next I got my SAS Kira. He seems nice, but sadly He came with a broken hip joint.

(I already emaid HLJ about this but I haven't gotten a response yet)

And today I got my Gift Reimu and Figma Dead Master, I haven't opened Ether one yet.

Oh and by the way this week's review might be a bit late. (It will be Figma Dead Master)

Nice loots! I've been considering a dakimakura but I'm not sure how those around me would react to such a thing. ^^;

It sucks that Kira is already broken. I'd probably cry if I ever received something broken. Unless of coarse, the store sends you a new one, in which case you have a guilt-free custom. ;P I hope that HLJ makes reparations for you.

I'm looking forward to your Dead Master review. I've heard tale of limp wrists and stands that make action poses difficult. Hopefully yours won't have any problems, and can give me hope that mine won't either.

Well, I had kind of expected it of the wrists, with they way they've been on all figmas lately. But if you have trouble with the stand, someone mentioned using a jeweler's screwdriver to tighten it up a bit. Glad to hear it's not too bad though! ^^

That definitely depends on the people you live with. For instance, while I personally try to avoid buying anime merchandise that is too "perverted" (given both me living with my parents and my own personal morale code), my mother actually found a oppai mouse pad that I got for free to be cute even after I explained what was wrong with it (she obviously is well aware of how some guys think).

I've still not really gotten a real reaction from my parents yet on what merchandise I do have - the figures. The closest I've come is wondering what "the big yellow thing is" (figma Vita's hammer) and some slight concern over how much I'm spending on it. I was somewhat hoping maybe the move of the figmas to an overhead shelf would prompt something, as you can clearly see up pretty much everyone's skirts. XD Still nothin'. I'm beginning to think maybe they're trying to avoid saying something. :/ Maybe it's for the better, but it's hard to gauge just how far I can push things without some sort of reaction.

I'm sorry to hear that your SAS Kira came with a broken hip; to tell you the truth I've never seen a broken one before.

I just assumed they were near indestructible. Nonetheless nice haul, and I hope you get a replacement soon.

I wanted to get a modest one as I'm not going to use it for anything "weird" and I don't perticulerly want a large perverted looking pillow laying around the house. XD
