You can customize characters in SC III too, but it's a bit limited.
Ohh.. I found that in order to make screen shot I should connect my PS3 to computer :( off course I can simply make a photo of TV-screen, but the quality will be bad ><

Don't know about SC III, but in SC IV you can customize your character - and I made a Saber-looking girl with Sophitia fighting style :))
Later I'll make screen shots with my anime-characters from SC IV :P
