The Lynx Strikes ToonAddict's House

One of my regular pastimes whenever I surf the Internet or fool around with my iPod is to check out a few fanart sites to see if there's any pictures that interest me. Two weeks ago, while browsing Pixiv on my iPod, I began to notice the various fanarts for the girls of Busou Shinki, an action figure line by Konami. One of the girls in particular that caught my eye was the fanarts of Antille (or to some people, Artille), the "Mountain Cat" type Busou Shinki figure. The following are the two fanarts of her that interested me.

The following night, after looking up the romaji names for the Busou Shinki girls (as I try to name most of my fanart collection files after the girls in the picture), I checked a couple of online stores for fun to see if they had any available, and sure enough, Hobbylink Japan still had one Antille left. After checking my bank book to see if it was okay to order it (as I am watching my money so I can have some for upcoming games and conventions), I decided to go ahead with it and ordered Antille.

Today, Antille arrived at my home via FedEx, and after setting her up to my preference (which is pretty much her regular outfit without the armor pieces, but with a happy expression and part of her cleavage showing), it was time to pse her for various pictures.

After the posing was finished, it was time to put her on my bookshelf, with her right next to the other Busou Shinki figure that I have, one of Eika from Sky Girls.

She looks nice but, do you think she was worth the price since you aren't using any of the armor parts?

Just because these photos don't include her armor parts doesn't mean I'm not considering to use them (as I did consider having her sport the boots armor).

Ah ok, It seems like there are some people who buy these bigger sets only for the figure and dont use the extra parts. I'm still interested do you think shes worth the price? I've been tempted to get full busou shinki sets before but I'm always scared off by the price.

I' am now regretting not buying Artille, nonetheless very nice purchase. Also for the extra armor bits...

Just a note: after reading the comment about not using the armor, I decided to add some armor pieces to Artille, although I'm still keeping that pose for the display.
