xD Hello!

I figured that I should throw it out there that I don't have any figures yet, just those random ones that you can get at cons and anime stores that can go on keychains. I don't know what they are called. I only have two but hopefully I can get pictures of them to go in here.

Anyway, next month (December) I'm going to be ordering my first Nendoroid from Amazon. It's going to be Sebastian (Kuroshitsuji) and I'm way excited about it. I already have a list of the ones I wish to get though two of them are proving to be too hard to find. Let's hope I can get them!

How did you come up with the idea of buying your first figure?

Cute keychains! Hmmm... I don't own any of such things. Mb I should purchase one too. What I have on my keys now is a grotesque plastic pink cake o_O And it's ok to upload and discuss anything connected to otaku culture and Japan in general. We even have a 'private stuff' category, but everyone seems to feel shy about it. The community is just starting out, you know :)

Hi! ^^

I had finally decided to get one after seeing so many of these pictures and hearing several people talk about them on deviantArt. After a while I got curious and wanted to know more about Nendoroids and when I looked them up I fell in love. xD

I see... Me too, I've purchased my first nendo not long ago. Actually I thought they are childish at first, but when I got one - I couldn't resist its magic :)

I see we are both in nearly the same situation. I'm a beginner too, waiting on my first shipment of Nendoroids. :) I'm also from dA.

I'm curious, what are the ones you're having trouble finding?

I'm having trouble with Kaito and Itoshiki Nozomu nendoroids. I have found them on both ebay and Japanese Amazon but that Amazon doesn't ship them to America and I don't trust ebay very much.

Hmm, those two are quite troublesome. Any place I know to check is out of stock. That's pretty upsetting, because I really want that Itoshiki-sensei too. ;_; As for Kaito, you could try getting the Nendoroid Petite: Vocaloid #01 set. That way, you could have Len too. It runs $60 for 12 figures, which is pretty nice! If you're interested, you can check it out here: http://www.otacute.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4_9&products_id=1710 (one of the last places that still has pre-orders open, too!)

I don't blame you, I don't trust ebay very much either. Ebay is pretty much a last resort. Which might end up being the case with Sensei. :< I'll let you know if I find him anywhere else!

If you are interested in my opinion, I used Ebay several times and don't regret it. I bought figurines, books... even a video-card o_O You should just be very careful considering the seller and read closely what you are buying.
