Where's Admiral Ackbar when you need him!?
A lot of people, myself included, have been extremely supportive of the idea of more male Nendoroids and Figmas. Now, GSC has responded to the demand... sort of. Baka to Test to Shokanjuu's resident being of questionable gender, Hideyoshi, makesher his its(?) Nendoroid debut! The young lad/lady/person includes a number of accessories seen in the show, including a tangerine box, a signboard, and a little figurine of one of the summoned beings (Shokanjuu) that often appear in the show. There's also two alternate faces, an angry yell and a cartoony, irritated look. Miss (or Mister?) Kinoshita will be shipping out next April.
WHERE ARE THEIR IRISES
Given the success of the Bakemonogatari Petit Nendoroids, it seems fairly logical that GSC would give some Nendo-love to Nisio Isin's other creation, Katanagatari. And now, these three Petit Nendoroids have arrived! Featuring mysterious self-proclaimed strategist Togame, as well as the Yasuri siblings Shichika and Nanami, it also continues the tradition started by the Bakemonogatari sets of including a large number of alternate arms, faces, and even hair parts. Shichika can assume a number of poses that would make a Kamen Rider proud, Nanami has her Tsume Awase claws, and Togame includes both a number of arms and an alternate hairstyle. Like Hideyoshi, these three come out in April. However, I am a bit disappointed that they didn't label this as "Set 1" - they probably won't do any more sets, it seems. It's a shame, 'cause I know I would love a Petit of Pengin or Biyorigou/Kanzashi.
Anyway, anyone else anticipating the being of enigmatic gender, or the trio with no irises? Sound off below!

Though I haven't yet watched Katanagatari, I may pick them up as well, as I am a huge sucker for Togame's design. We'll just have to wait and see if there's budget room for them or not.
