Figure News: Nanoha Petit Nendos finally given a release date

Took ya long enough, GSC. The Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Petit Nendoroid set finally has a release date. The set was first announced for release in July (preorders opened in May), then was delayed to August at the last possible minute. The end of August came and went with no release or explanation. Regardless, GSC finally announced that the set will be hitting retailers October 12th!

Personally, though, I just want to know why they were delayed twice, and why GSC didn't even tell people. It leaves me somewhat nervous about the other GSC/MF products I have on preorder in the future - a last-minute delay of, say, one of the October Figmas would mess up my ordering and payment schedule for several months. Anyone else affected by the Nanoha delays, or concerned about future GSC delays? Sound off below!

They've had a lot of Quality Control issues lately, especially with petites, so maybe it was that? Hopefully after the Fate/Stay Night petite(broken lion cars, two Riders with the same face)incident they've learned a lesson.

Delays on other things would be annoying, but might actually benefit me. Seeing as how this month is running me about $200. @_@;; I'd hate to have to wait any longer for them though.

Yeah, quite a bit of problems. :< There's been tons of reports of bad paint and black spots. Sometimes missing arms or getting two of a right arm and no left. Then the already mentioned broken lion cars, and someone who got the two different riders but they both had the yelling face. I'm just going to have to try to be very optimistic that when I order my set it will be ok. -_-;;

This makes me really glad that I have the opportunity to buy Petit Nendos in person. I just hope my LCS still has an Ilya that isn't too messed-up...
