I just queued up torrents for 7 complete Kamen Rider series so that I may some day get more enjoyment out of all of the stuff from the series that gets posted on here. After mu597 had shown me some YouTube clips, I'm going to have to start with Den-O. I also have Ryuki, 555, Blade, Hibiki, Kabuto, and Kiva downloading. Any suggestions for what I should watch after Den-O? Is it okay to skip between series?
You might want to watch Decade next as it features the 9 previous seriespretty much every rider and one sentai although their stories are changed a bit (Except for den-o witch continues its story).
My general recommendation is always to start with Kabuto since it has a bit of something for everyone, if you're starting with Den-O and actually enjoy it then that's a good too.
Your next choice really depends on what kind of show you like best. Do you like character driven series, or do you like plot heavy series.
Character driven KR: Kabuto, Hibiki, Den-O, Kiva and Blade
Story driven KR: Kuuga, Agito, Faiz, Decade and Ryuki
I would not recommend watching Decade because while it does give you a slight taste of each different KR series, it's not accurate at all and in my opinion didn't give not one of the series the respect that series deserved.
Except for Kuuga and Agito neither KR series is directly related to the other one, they are their own unique world.
I really recommend Kabuto or Hibiki next if you like the character aspects of Den-O, if you like the story driven ones I recommend watching Agito or Faiz.
Thank you for the details! Especially the character driven, story driven separation. I typically gravitate towards character driven series. I was attracted to Den-O because all of the clips of them just hanging out in the train amused me and Hana seems like a character that I'd really like.
I'll take you up on your recommendation and watch Kabuto after I'm finished. I may just go backwards in the series production time line from Den-O down to Ryuki and then come back up to Kiva to finish it off. I don't have batches for the Kuuga and Agito TV series and TV-Nihon is still working on subbing Decade so those will come later or I'll have to find another source.
Decade is actually subbed completely, the show just finished early and the finale is out in movie form, the movie hasn't been released on DVD yet so there is no ending yet. I'd say watch Decade last.
Oh, I see. Well, I was planning to watch Decade after Kiva anyway. The movie will probably be out by the time I watch through everything else.
So, about Kuuga and Agito, do you know if someone else has subbed those two series? It seems like TV-Nihon has only done the first few DVD episodes of Kuuga and doesn't have any episodes of Agito on their tracker....
So far I've really been enjoying Den-O. It's a very fun show. After watching the series for two days I've already finished the first 14 episodes, and that's while still watching a my usual anime and reading manga. Maybe I'll be able to finish it before I move? ^_^

Poor Kamen Rider, I almost have a sympathy for him!
