Yet another WonFes Blog Post

So many beautiful things coming out at this years Wonder Fest, everyone on here has provided some great images and information. I want to add some more "boyish" stuff though, just to balance it out a bit :D

First off is my second favorite line to Figma, Souchaku Henshin Figuarts which this year is greatly expanding the line.

SHF is primarily based on Kamen Rider so I'm going to start there:

It's so huge right now I'm going to keep the images to group shots rather than single shots (the post would be to long otherwise :/)

First off is the current running series Kamen Rider W. The main rider character W has so many forms and SHF has decided pretty much to release every single variation. Here's the group shot of all of the forms. SHF is also working on each Rider's motorcycle whether these will be web exclusive like previous other motorcycle releases is unkown.

Second expansion is from the series Kamen Rider Agito, more bikes and more characters, the ones I've been wanting most are finally being released, G3, G3-X and G4, they are the ones that look like robots.

Here's a close up of G3 and his bike.

Here is something that is quite possibly the quintessential must have for me personally, Kamen Rider Ichigo (One/First) and part of the none Rider line expansion, Ultraman.

Kamen Rider 1

Ultraman

Moving on, here is the expansion to the SHF DBZ line.

SS Goku and Piccolo are already out, sadly I don't own either right now (not a big fan of the SS Goku or of Piccolo)

In this group shot though there is regular form Goku and Vegeta with SS Gohan. Regular Goku and Vegeta are definitely going to be a must buy for me.

No word yet on how they plan on releasing those energy accessories, though they are planned as real products.

Closeup of Goku and energy charge up accessory.

SHF also has a small but growing line for the Pretty Cure series, I have yet to buy one, personally I was waiting to see if they release Cure Black and Cure white, but here's the latest line up for SHF.

and thankfully the figure gods have finally granted my wish and so Pretty Cure Black and White. I had been waiting for an announcement for these two and by some chance as I was digging for more photos I happened by them.

So yeah, about time...

Moving on.

Revoltech, biggest thing for me is that Kaiyodo Revoltech has launched a Sci-Fi line which has among it lots of American properties, the following are my favorites and ones I'm really looking forward too.

Revoltech Alien

Revoltech Alien Queen

Revoltech Predator very early prototype, has no joints and is scultpt scale

Revoltech Batman:

Revoltech Jack Skelington:

And Revoltech T-Rex:

While I know these are not Japanese or Anime properties I really do like that a japanese company like Kaiyodo which has been fairly localized is expanding into such a broad market. I can't wait to see more stuff like this.

Pretty much that's all I wanted to cover, most everything has already been covered before and this year is a great year for figures, toys and general japanese merchandise. I really can't wait till several of these products are released.

i'm not a big fan of most of the stuff the figuarts are based on but cure black/white and the old school kamen rider/ ultraman are very tempting.

Also why is it that nobody seems to have taken any pictures of the revoltech i'm most excited about Giant Robo you can clearly see him in the background of the alien queen.

This is an older picture of him.

there are several in battle poses at the moeyo blog he does look awesome, him and Gamera are also on my list of heavy ones.

I really like that SHF is expanding a lot but it's very targeted at shounen stuff right now (aside from PC). I'm just finally glad they released Cure White and Black, there was talking of them dropping the line and I thought I'd never see those two released if they did.

Hehe... thanks for sharing :) I'm unfamiliar with Kamen Riders, so no comments on them. But Sci-Fi Revoltech line is pretty interesting. Revoltech Alien is especially cute ^^ Nice work, Kaiyodo!
Today I shall judge nothing that occurs.
