You guys have no idea how much I want to hug the crap out of you. My birthday tends to get overshadowed by the 15 other members of my family near the same date. But between the warm wishes both here and on MFC, I was incredibly touched and ended up breaking down crying like a huge baby. So thank you very much for taking a second to drop a word or two for me, it meant a lot and I love you forever for it.

I know I don't post all that much on here, but I thought I'd take a bit and say thanks and show you my loots. Everyone likes looking through loots, right? (Or is that just me with the odd loot fetish...) I only took photos of the Pokemon stuff though, as the rest either isn't in yet or just isn't very photogenic anyhow.

To start with, my friend Kyle up and shipped me a set of speakers without a word. Quite a pleasant surprise! XD I had mentioned to him a few times about how I had a friend who had speakers that he could prop his feet up on so he could 'feel' the games and such. I have since quickly learned that it was a cooler idea before I got into nervier/scarier games. TT_TT Stupid glitchy Oblivion guards and their booming voices... >_>

From my family I mostly got money, because I've turned into a kid with weird hobbies that are difficult to buy for. That money's going towards a new 3tb drive, 'cause I'm going to need it to have any space for next season's shows (only 24gb left on current drive, and that will be gone before the season even starts I bet).

Ok, now for shiny pictures. The pokemon stuff is from the boyfriend, as he made a mistake and rebooted my obsession with it again. I had been doing good with just the games and one little Snivy figure. Then we ran into one of those promo boxes at Wal-mart that came with a little Victini figure. And now I'm doomed again.



I got the idea in my head to look back through all my old cards, ended up taking all the cards out of the binder and re-ordering them, and found out my collection was actually fairly complete. In some sets I'm missing as few as 3 cards. But more than anything I'm missing promos, so to help me out the BF got me all the current promo tins. Which came with more figures! Snivy~~~ <3 It's a bit of a shame, but the Zekrom/Reshirom tins didn't come with figures. :<

They each came with a promo card for the respective characters on the tin. The three in the middle (with Oshawott, Snivy, and Tepig) are the black/white 'preview' promos that came with a pack of cards from the -then- upcoming black/white card set. What's disappointing about the preview card pack is that they were preset cards, and the same in each tin (and the 5 most common ones too, it seems). The rest of the card packs were from previous sets, which I was actually extremely cool with as I'm behind on a few generations now. ^^;

Also in the picture is the toys they have out right now from McDonald's, which I've had my boyfriend raiding for me. Not in the picture are the three he's gotten since he left - Reshiram, Snivy, and Zorua. We have all the toys now and are only short 3 of the promo cards. Some of them are actually pretty neat little toys, the Pikachu's cheeks light up as does Tepig's tail (reminds me of the old Charmander I had from Burger King I think). The Oshawott's whole body bobbles like a bobble-head. Zoroark just kinda swivels at the waist and Zekrom's arms move up and down.



A closer look at the promo tin figures. I had no idea Oshawott could take the shell off! XD Figure-wise I think the Tepig is actually my favorite, I love the way they have him breathing fire out of his nose!



What's also interesting about this set is that they have a little slot in the back of the stand (you can kinda make it out, it kept being shiny and thus blurry) that you can prop a card up behind it:



Like so! Making your Smugleaf look just a bit smugger. (And this photo refused to not be yellow. Oh well, it ain't pretty but you get the point.)

I also have an order from AmiAmi on its way with figma Kurisu(tina) and Nendo Stocking. These are technically gifts since the boyfriend ended up paying for them and I just covered shipping. My mom's been making me slow down on spending my money (or a complete halt it seems) for health-type stuff. I could honestly do without dropping 2k on something so stupid, but I'm sure that's the same way she thinks of my figures. :P I'm going to be figure deprived for a few months, and with so much good stuff coming up too! Madoka~~ T_T
