The original sold pretty well, IIRC. The character's pretty popular in Japan, despite being unheard of in the rest of the world. It would be like if they were to release a Nendoroid Cheburashka or Dr. Who Figmas - they'd sell very well in Russia and the UK respectively, but they'd probably shelfwarm in Japan.
