Today is a happy day when I've joined the army of BJD (ball-jointed dolls) fans. In other words - the day I received my precious parcel.
I called him Ganta. I've been looking at ball-jointed dolls for quite a while being unable to decide whether I truly need it or not. I didn't want a small one, and those which are bigger consequently cost more. Finally - about a month and a half ago I placed an order.
Well, my doll has nothing to do with anime or Japan in general. I mean, he wasn't made by Volks or Azon. Therefore I won't add Ganta to MyAnimeShelf database, but with your permission write a couple of blog posts dedicated to him. He was manufactured by well-known Korean company, named Dream of Doll. His height is about 64 Sm. And yes, he is a boy. Not completely mature though.
Unfortunately we have disgusting weather today in Moscow. The sky is completely covered with black clouds and air seems to turn into water. There isn't enough sunlight to take proper pics. I've just tried it and I don't like the result. But still I've chosen one to show you, cause I want to share my impressions with someone. Aaaah! :D
So, how do you like my Ganta?
Be sure, I'll return with more pics and a story which explains who is Ganta, what else do I think about BJD etc.

What stops me is not price (it was me who spend nearly 300$ on Mushishi RAH) - it is their shining beauty. They are so perfect, that I'm nearly scared 0_o
And more - I have a distant dream to make my own BJD, depicting my favorite male characters of anime. So I think my not-nearly perfect charas, like Akagi
or Gin
would get jealous^__^
Your Ganta is really cute. He really reminds me of Ciel of Kuroshitsuji^^

This is Elise, she's my fav. :D
It's sad seeing her alone so I got her a brother. I got the clothing that Ganta was wearing for him too but never get to take a picture of him in it.
Actually the reason I got this fella it's because I want him to wield all my 1/6 rifles like those little girls in Gunslinger Girl. But Dante is a boy, I blame the release of Devil May Cry 4 back then that spiked this decision. Ah, yes, I named him Dante. XD

Do you have a story for Ganta? Cause some doll owners give a story to their dolls.
