I guess most of you have already heard about 'figutto'. And if not... well :)
Griffon Enterprises is launching a new action figure line called 'figutto' (フィぎゅっと).
And today GE updated its 'figutto' site revealing the name of the first figurine in the series. According to the official info it's going to be Reimu Hakurei from Touhou Project. She will be released in March 2010 and the price is 3990 Yen.
Here I have some pictures from .

What do you think about 'figutto'?
Compared to figma and Revoltechs, 4000 Yen is rather pricey. However the quality and the detail level seems better as well - and because of this I think I would prefer GE new line to the ones named above. Although I'm not into action figures really.
'Figutto' also reminds me of BJD dolls. Draw attention - they focus not only on how the figurine looks form the outside (I mean clothes and extra subjects), but on the figurines original body. That is odd, cause usually action figures are associated with something simple.
It was also announced earlier that Max Factory is going to release its figma Reimu Hakurei. Considering this fact, doesn't it look like 'figutto' is declaring a war to figma?

The question is: which Reimu do you like best?

I like the fugitto body, it's joints are smooth and not so visible. But speaking about Reimu - I like figma's face and colors better. Colors of figmas are always bright.
I wouldn't say it is "war". Few month ago, I don't know why, all manufacturers rushed to make Touho figures.
I've already seen some 10 different Reimus out there.

Now I realize, they look like teenager-Reimu (figma) and mature Reimu (figutto) ^_^

As far as Reimu vs. Reimu, I like the figma better. I like the brighter colors and flow to her better. That, and the adorable belly button. XD Also, the ankle joints on the figutto are more obvious. It doesn't blend into the sock as well.
The Figutto is more appealing to me as more of a cheaper BJD alternative. If they would sell them blank, it could actually be a pretty good solution for me. ^^
