Mina-san, I would like you to help me to think out a name (and maybe some bio-details) for our Shelf-girl.
She was originally created by one of my friends, Aleksandra, and recently redrawn by pineappleskewer. Cute, yeah?
Now when the girl has two pictures of herself, I think we can call her our mascot... and that means she deserves a name.
Huh, I think I am in trouble when it comes to names. But I can suggest several other details.
1. Her birthday is the 6th of September - the day when the first news-article appeared on MyAnimeShelf and with it the activity began.
What's her age? Ahhh... considering the fact she will be growing up with the site, eh, 15?
2. I don't want her to be of any particular nationality. Let's say she happened to have relatives all over the world.
I was also thinking about making her a daughter of a rich couple who take business trips to different countries and often bring her along with them. But I'm not sure. What I'm quite sure about is that she's definitely a well-to-do person because...
3. She collects anime figurines :D
...
So, any name suggestions?
P.S.: I'll create a mascot section on the site, if I ever get a third drawing of her.

-Cyan (the hidden name in my comment in pineappleskewer's post)
-Lilith / Lily (kind of appropriate with the massive popularity of Saber Lily here)
-April (the girl's name I've liked the longest, the reason is kind of embarrassing to admit)
-Anna (name I gave to my favorite D&D character ever)
And does she need a last name, too? He's a list of those if you like:
-Marcel
-Ducoveni
-Xenos
-Maxwell
-Terra (guess this could be a first name, too)
-Reed
No other ideas right now. Hope that's a little helpful. ^_^"

Lilith is probably too mature. I immediately started to see images of seductive succubus oO
April sounds nice, though my sole association is Ninja Turtles :D
Anna is extremely popular among Russian families (like Kate or Jane), that's why それはちょっと。。。
I actually managed to brainstorm one idea myself. Though I'm not 100% sure...
Gods, people tend to have surnames as well....why? T_T

Heheh.... Sadly, you guessed right....me liking the name April was originally because I really liked the Ninja Turtles character when I was little, my first crush on a fictional girl. Yeah, kind of embarrassing. ^_^"

I don't want you to be embarrassed alone, so...I remember myself being almost in love with Donatello. I always take a fancy to scientists and computer geniuses. If they aren't mad off course T_T

Secrets....For some reason I think a lot of girls who watched the Ninja Turtles liked Donatello. Maybe girls who liked the series were just more likely to like smart guys? Thinking back Donatello is my favorite Turtle, but back when I was little it was Leonardo. That was just because he was blue, though. Nothing else really mattered to me back then. But I really like Donatello's character and weapon a lot more than Leonardo's. I was really sad that he didn't have a bigger part in the new CGI movie.

Elly, Sophie and Ehnia are all very sweet and tender. I'm pretty sure what we need is something very close.

Sheruko of Shefuko - stands for Shelf + ko
Aki or Akiko - since "aki" is autumn
Then when I look at her, she is like a rain or pastel sky for me, so
Kosame - which means a little rain, but that, as well, could be a last name,
Sorako - stands for "sora" (sky) + ko
I'll maybe think of something more today.
BTW, do you plan to make a Rus. post about it, so our Russian-speaking users can think of it too?

Clair?
Cerelia?
I always end up picking names that start with "C".... o:
I also like Lily! She reminds me of the tiny flowers on the Lily-of-the-valley.
