I usually ask our users to avoid using photos made by Hobby Search or other stores, but today I want you to have a look exactly on two of them. I've noticed the discussion about GSC quality getting lower on other forums and checked myself. Here you can see two pics of GSC latest release - Dead Master Original Ver. They were uploaded by Hobby Search after the product came in stock, so it's most likely to be a mass production figurine. One was shipped to me today btw.

Here you can see a creepy crack of some kind. Click the image to enlarge it.

And here we have an obvious coloring imperfection.

What do you think guys? Do you consider it to be major defects or you can easily close your eyes on it?

That's really disappointing to hear/see. I hate seeing such imperfections on large, expensive figures. On cheaper things I can shrug it off, but not something like this. There's also a big chunk of green in the hair that didn't get blended in properly. :/

Pretty much what Jobibi said. I can definitely understand something like this on, say, a 3000Y Figma. But if you're paying over a hundred bucks for a figure, it shouldn't have big issues like this. It seems like GSC is going through a phase of some QC problems, kind of like Kaiyodo did for a few months last year. I hope they get their act together (what with the defects and the delays) soon, or it'll probably be reflected in their sales.

Hmm...that's rather...disappointing. Dead Master's already being sent in my direction, so I might be able to clarify how bad those imperfections are when I get them, depending on whether I've got time or not.

So I received Dead Master today, and turns out the concerns are unfounded after all. She looks just fine.
