Dilemma of a light box

So, I've done a bit more renovation/repositioning on my light box to see if I can improve my picture quality, and here it is.

The added lamp does add to the overall brightness in it...but I'm thinking of doing more modification to let more light to the front of the figure, which I'm having trouble with.

Here're two samples I've taken for now...

Been trying to decide if either of these pics are of acceptable quality...

Your lamps are very strong.. unfortunately I can't say that about mine :) Did you try to set them on the left and right side of the light box?

I'm thinking of doing it, but it's hard to position the lamps (too short).

The new pictures look too bright. Did you try it with one lamp?

Yes, the dilemma is that if I lower my exposure time, face look dark, but if I increase my exposure time (or add light) to compensate, the rest of the picture looks too bright.
