I've a friend who's in Japan, who offered to buy and ship some limited figures from Wonder Festival, coming up on February 7th. He's asked me to see if anyone else that I know would also like to order stuff from it.
Strictly unofficial in that he has no guarantees that he'll get the figure, and you will have to pay him in advance if you want something. There's also going to be surcharges involved.
I do realize that this might smell a bit fishy, but nonetheless, the offer's out. I can't exactly make this look not shady, because from others' point of view, it is :D

But thing is, I'm not really sure I want her. If I get Ui, I'll be obliged (it's all in my mind, but anyway) to get my hands on all figma K-On girls.
And I don't really like the series (dropped on a 3d ep), I just like the character design very much^^
Sooo~ how much will his services cost?^^

I did a little googling, and found a proxy that'll accept preorders on Ui for June, when she'll be sold in a GSC online shop. The seller wants 4000 yen for her, with basic price 2500.
I'd rather wait till June^^ Or just pass on all K-On girls (haven't decided yet)
But I think if I wanted some rare scaled PVC, I would've accepted this.

Second, when it comes to K-On, the show does get somewhat better as it goes on (episode 3 is probably one of the weaker episodes BTW).

I once had the same thing with ToraDora! I dropped it on 3d or 4th ep, and then when it was complete I've seen many positive reviews and decided to continue watching. In the end I liked the show very much.

After all, the "band" aspect of the show begins to pick up after episode 3 (not to mention there's still a couple of characters that still need to be introduced).

Hm... I'm still trying to make my mind. K-ON nendo girls are cute, but getting just two of them won't satisfy me. They really should announce all 4 (or 5) together :/
